Hi

I have a Win7 Pro 64bit system but it is not compatable with Sprint SmartView, the program I run to get online using my Cell Phone as a modem. SmartView is only compatable with WinXP.

Ive installed Windows Virtual PC to run WinXP Mode. SmartView runs flawlessly in the XP Mode.

Here is my question:
I 've installed DVDPro on both systems, but unless I'm in a WiFi area to get online, I can't interact with Invelos (Add a DVD or my Download Database). Generally I can only get online in the XP Mode.

Is there a file I can copy from the XP system and paste (Replace) in the Invelos folder on the Win7 system to make the program reflect my current collection?

Thanks
Richard

I believe you should be able to point DVDP on each system to the same folder.  The Windows 7 host shares its drives with an XP Mode VM.

The two (Separate) Operating Systems do not share any common files or sub-folders. Only the "Machine".

Examples:

Win7 -
DVDProfiler Properties is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\DVD Profier\dvdprofiler.exe"
This path does not exist under "C:\Program Files (x86) in Virtual XP Mode.

Virtual Machine XP Mode -
DVDProfiler Properties is: "C:\Program Files\DVD Profier\dvdprofiler.exe"
This path does not exist under "C:\Program Files\ in Win7 Mode.

Using WiFi and Win7, I just now downloaded the collection from Invelos and updated the Win7 database.

Then I viewed all the files to see which files had a current date of being modifed. There were none with today's date.

Hence, the question... What is the name the name of the file that contains the current Database information?

That's not quite correct.

I'm sitting here right now at a Windows 7 x64 machine that has an XP Mode VM on it, and the VM can see all the host computer's partitions.  It was set up like this during the installation of XP Mode.  Thus, my VM can see the Documents folder on my Windows 7 machine that contains my DVD Profiler database.
