I had a hard drive crash and have to reload everything.

I reinstallen 2.4, but when I try to download a file, I get a message that I need the "Online Profile List".

I remember having to do this on my original install, but now can not remember the name of the file and from where to get it and where to copy it to.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks
Jim

In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

I use my 3.5 as a referance to movie titles..Does 2.4 have a broader base??

It seems an old version of the 2.4 OnlineList is still available here: http://www.ya-shin.com/dvdpro/files/OnlineList.zip
Expand and copy to "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\DVD Profiler\"

Hope this works
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

No, it doesn't have a broader base. I mainly use it to look a previous Contribution Notes.

That sounds handy... but even though I can't seem to find it now... I could have sworn there was an html window made for this purpose. I wish I could find it as I wouldn't mind adding it to my profiler. I personally wouldn't want another version of the program for this purpose though.

Version 2.5 is the latest IVS version, and is still available for download from the links on the lower right of our homepage.  It will interface with the IVS site better than 2.4.

See this posting, works for UPC and EAN, but not for Disc-IDs unfortunately.
Maybe someone can built a plug-in for it, the rules are rather straightforward.

Btw for those of you using CCViewer: Holding Ctrl key while clicking on the UPC in the Details window will open up the old Profiler 2.x contribution notes instead of the current Profiler 3 contribution notes.
