Database Query on Windows 7 x64?

Has anyone had success installing the Database Query plug-in on Windows 7?  I have the 64-bit Home Premium version of Windows and find that Database Query always fails during the install.  The error message indicates that Database Query is already running (it's not!).

[Edit:  Found a Database Query thread in the Plug-ins section and will post there.  Sorry for the dupe.]
