Hello-- I got a new laptop at work, which is the computer where I have DVD Profiler installed (purchased copy).  I thought I transferred all of my personal files over, but when I open DVD Profiler on the new computer, it can't find my existing database.  What file(s) do I need to look for on the old computer to transfer to the new one so that I don't have to rebuild the database from scratch?  I should have a few more days before my old laptop is wiped clean, so any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

Use the built in backup and restore feature.  Just do a full backup on your old computer and copy that file to a memory stick or CD or whatever you prefer.  Insert that into your new computer and do a restore.  That will move all the file you need to the new system.

If you still have DVDP installed on the old computer, then open it and choose File->Backup Database.

Transfer the file to the new computer and choose File->Restore Database.

If you have only the hard drive, open the folder <my documents>\DVD Profiler\Databases\<your database name (most likely "Default")>

Copy everything from there to the new computer into the same folder.
