I've been using DVD Profiler for about a month.  During that time I have noticed that when I add new titles to my collection that the cover pictures for some titles are changed, at least for the database display.  The only solution I have had was to delete that entry and reload it.  Now, when I delete it, I can no longer reload it.  After entering the UPC # I get an error when trying to add them to my collection.  Any idea what I need to do?  When I search the database the items are no longer listed.  How do I update the database?  Thanks.

The first thing I'd try is a Database Repair. Tools/Options, select Utilities, then click Repair Profile Database.

Hope it works!

RG;

Hollywood is notorious for issuing re-released movies with the same UPC and different images. For Profiler purposes, at this time, we can ONLY handle whatever the ORIGINALLY released cover is, that could explain the differences you are seeing.

Should you have a scanner, you can always scan front  and back. Put those in your local database, and lock cover images for those titles.

If you like, I can host the images for you, so other users may benefit.

You can find all info here in the re-release covers thread. There are about 80 titles from various regions available already.
