The credit chart says 'no'.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Ahh, but common sense says yes.
The chart needs updating IMHO.

Lead, supervising... they get credits for other roles so why not all?

I would also credit him.
There are prefixes that should be included and prefixes that shouldn't (except where explicitly defined in the rules, of course). Most of these are touched on in different parts of the rules, but there is no "One Rule to Rule Them All"

In my opinion, the following are acceptable prefixes, as they infer they are more important than the standard credit on its own
  • Lead

  • Head

  • Chief

  • Supervising

  • Senior

  • Primary

  • Key

  • In my opinion, the following are not acceptable prefixes, as they infer they are less important than the standard credit on its own
  • Co-
  • (referenced multiple times in the Rules)
  • Assistant

  • Junior

  • Trainee

  • Intern

  • Associate

  • Secondary

  • Tertiary
  • (ad nauseam)

These lists are far from complete, and there are some "grey" ones as well.
And I am sure many people will disagree, because there isn't a word-for-word rule written down about it. But all rules require a modicum of Common Sense(tm).
It's like asking someone to list all the Ministers in the UK Cabinet, and they don't list the "Prime Minister"  (cue UK political jokes )

And all Unit credits are out too, as Gerri has stated.

Actually, if they are credited like that, they should be the only one to get the credit. Who needs endless lists of assistents for make-up, wardrobe etctera... But if DVDP users like the lists, fine, but then the people responsible (for the artistic output) should get top billing.

The lead Art Director should get credited - he is an Art Directer after all. This perfectly illustrates the need to update the chart. I would include him - writing in the contribution notes his exact role - and let the screeners decide.

We accept Supervisoring Art Director, which is not on the chart, so what is the difference for Lead Art Director?

Actually Supervising Art Director (I reckon that is what you mean with Supervisoring(?)) is in the chart, but Lead Art Director is not.

I agree that the chart needs updating, but for now Lead AD is not permissable per rules.

The difference is that Supervising Art Director IS on the chart, Lead Art Director is not.
EDIT: Bah, Berak beat me to it.

I don't disagree.  The chart really needs to be a little more flexible but, at the moment, it is not.  Where there are roles listed, I enter those roles and nothing else.
