A lot of the boxsets that I own, such as Sex In The City, Stargate, Strgate Atlantis....., are missing child profiles.  How do I add them.

do the discs have their own case with a UPC code? if not you'll need to add them by disc id.

Bring up the add dvd window. Enter the UPC code if it exists, if not do add by disc Id (you'll need to put the disc in your dvd-rom drive. Also, make sure you have dvd profiler set up to use the drive (options->system I believe). If the profile does not  come up you can uncheck download profile from invelos. this will let you add a new profile.

once you add it to your collection you can modify it (can copy relevent cast\crew from parent profile as well as probably some other info).

to put it as a child profile you need to edit the parent (or the profile you want to be the parent) and go to the box sets tab. There you will have a list of profiles on the right that you can select and assign as box set contents.

Save the profile and contribute (per the contribution rules)
