well first I'd suggest doing a backup (just to be safe)

then I'd run a database repair (it's under tools, options i think. can also get to it from the dvd profiler folder in the start menu.

if it's still there then take your above mentioned backup and restore it. When you restore it select only specific profiles. Then choose select all. At the top of the listing there is likely a blank entry. uncheck that and then restore. Now everything except that 'ghost entry' will be restored. Now make a full backup

you can restore it into a new data base and keep your previous one incase anything goes wrong (of course we have our backup from before we started. (new database from File -> New)
