Hey Guys,

Just picked up a scanner today which removes the annoying moire from images so i could start putting up contributions!

1) How do make a new profile for a dvd, when it already exists in the database at another location, but it has the same ISBN?

e.g: The Hitcher Blu-ray has the name ISBN for the United States version as the Australian release, however the cover is different, and i can't work out how to remove 'United States' From the listing, so wanted to make one from scratch.

Os this possible? cause i can't work out how to, but i've noticed multiple similar versions of other films in the database.

2) Is it possible when create a new listing, to duplicate an existing listings information so you don't need to start from complete scratch?  Just so i don't need to redo the cast information for instance.

I hope these aren't stupid questions, this is just my first time doing this

Download the US version and change the locality to Australia in your database. (Menu DVD ----> Change locality)

When you then contribute, a new profile for the Australian version will be available online after a few days.

Make sure you verify all the information from your own version before you contribute - there might be differences in the two versions.

Happy profiling!

Oh, and by the way - there are no stupid questions...

The easiest solution is to take the US profile, then in the menu DVD, change the locality. Then you change in the profile all data that are different (covers, overview (?)...), and you can also check cast and crew to verify if they are correct (per the rules). Then you contribute your "new" profile.

If you check out the "clone" link in my signature, you get some pretty good instructions, as well as a check list of information that may have changed from the profile you're cloning.
