I know from rules we do profile the longest version (D.C/Extended) at least runningtime wise. However I just watch the Theatrical version of "The X-Files: I want to believe" and also watched all bonusfeatures from it. And in the theatrical version, we have an isolated 5.1 score added, which are not present in the D.C. Also there are D-Box motion code in theatrical, and not in D.C.

So since we profile E.C/D.C do we then leave out the isolated audiotrack from the listing, and the D-Box motion code as well, since it's just implemented on the theatrical version? Is it possible to add Isolated 5.1 score and D-Box to other features and state that's only for theatrical version?

I would go with the audio tracks from the main version only (the program really needs to deal with this stuff better.) The main version would be defined as whatever plays by default.

Hard to determine, since in the beginning it let us select to see the Directors cut or theatrical cut, before the main menus arrive...

When the selection screen pops up, is one of the options already highlighted? If not, I would go with what's on the left or the top as the main one.

Well, it says Director's Cut as edition, and that whats on the cover too. Also the selectionscreen has Directors Cut on left, and also highlighted   So D.C. profiling it ias. Was that way when I profiled the frist time too, but since I watched theatrical the second time, and saw other features, I just wondered about that.
But could I enter 5.1 Isolated track, D-Box motion code and PiP to "Other features" and state it's only for theatrical version?

I believe we should profile the edition, as listed on the case...which is what I think you did.  It is unfortunate that we lose some of that other stuff, but I don't see a way around it without a program change.

you can of course., list all the audio options so you can see on a personal search what your dvd's contain.., Lock it off and make a note in your notes that the 5.1 audio is only available on the Theatrical print ..,,

But what the rules should read is you could list all audio even though the main profile is for the extended cut ..

So, DarklyNoon, you're basically saying that, for example, for the German Blu-ray edition of "Hangover" only the Extended Edition's English Dolby Digital True HD track should remain in the profile, and all other audio tracks of the theatrical version - including the German track - should be removed (after all, this release is marketed as "Extended Edition")?

Well, maybe you can tell this the users in the German Profiler Forum or other German forums like Cinefacts. Hope you've got some good running shoes - you will need them...
