Same disc (same UPC) part of two different box sets? |

I have a box set that contains two movies (slip case, two movies that first had a seperate release and now bundled). So as is the case with such things, there's a parent profile for the slip case so-to-speak and in it two child profiles: one for each individual movie, including Aliens vs Predator.
I will soon get another slip case with three movies and one of them is the exact same one (same cover, same UPC, same disc ID) as one of the two of the previously mentioned slip case: Aliens vs Predator.
That means that when I add both slip case parent profiles, that one child profile for Aliens vs Predator would technically belong to both parent profiles (slip case 1 and slip case 2). Since it's the first time I run into such a thing, will DVDP be able to handle this without creating a duplicate? Ideally, I would like to have only one profile for Aliens vs Predator, but have it accessible as a child from both parents.
Does it work like that in DVDP? If not, how can I can handle such instances? | | | Blu-ray collection

I can understand the need of a boxset if there is some real reason to group the movies (Alien movies, SW movies,...). But I think it is less useful when the packaging is just made to sell two movies which are not really connected. In fact, in my local, I have no boxset, only single profiles. One movie=one profile, that's much simplier to manage. You can have two discs with the same Disc ID in different profiles, under Disc Info, but not as identifier for the profile.
So unless version 3.6 changes something, I don't think you have an elegant solution. If the child profiles have a UPC, you may enter one of them by Disc ID instead. | | | | Hans |

A child profile can only belong to one parent profile in your local DB. If you want to have it in both, you will have to use a disc ID profile for one and a UPC profile for the other...or create a manual profile. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.

I reused the disc ID but changed the locality (from U.S. to Canada) to one that i don't normally use..
They differ from the originals only in the cover scans. I just keep them locally. | | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |
