I'm not sure about this and I could be wrong, but I don't think Cast/Crew pictures are part of the profile download, you have to add them manually.

Yes, this is exactly what I was looking for.  I didn't realize that it is not a standard feature with the DVD Profiler product.  It looks like quite a collaboration and lots of time/effort being put into this. 

I think I'll wait for the next release of DVD Profiler and hope that this will be a standard feature, as the process sounds a bit complicated for now.

It is not so difficult to do anyway.
Place the cursor on an actor's name (or crew member), and push the Cast Information button.
Then double-click on the photo (or the place where the photo is supposed to be), and you are connected to Google Images.
Pick a picture and copy/paste into the photo space. You get higher quality pictures (generally) by following the links provided by Google Images first, rather than using the thumbnails.

There is an easier way...as long as you don't mind getting the images yourself.  There is a folder in your DVDProfiler directory, called CreditPhotos, where you can add them.  Just do the following:

Use Google Advanced Image Search.

Enter the actor name with image size set to 3x4...I use Width: 300 Height: 400 but you can use whatever you like.  This is done because the program will automatically resize the image to that ratio and we don't want any distortions.

Save the image to the directory mentioned above with the following format: LastName_FirstName_MiddleName.  If no middle name, leave it blank.

Examples:
Alba_Jessica_
Downey, Jr._Robert_
Jones_James_Earl

If you can't find an image with the correct size, you can always use editing software to get the proper ratio.

I use this method, rather than the shared file suggested above, because the images are not integrated into the profile.

You can just copy/paste the pictures, no need to worry about the address or properties.

Right click on the picture, click 'copy'.
Go to the space in DVDP where the photo is supposed to go, right click, click 'paste'.

All normal Windows stuff.

Hey AugieDog, thought maybe I could help you out with the importing of said Headshots. Cause it does seem complicated at first (I thought the same thing). Here's my "attempt" ()  at making it easy for ya.

Step 1: Start by creating a folder to store all your headshot backups that you intend on downloading. I created a folder on my Desktop labeled "Headshots" but you can put this wherever as long as you remember how to get to it again.

Step 2: Head HERE and click on the folder labeled "Headshots-2008". Download each file starting with the bottom one and put them in that folder you created.

Step 3: Open up DVDprofiler and go to "File" then "Restore Database...".

Step 4: Once that window pops up select the "Specific Location" and Click on the "Browse" button bellow it.

Step 5: Find the first file you downloaded from the above link, in my case it was on my Desktop so I selected it and hit "Open". This will take you back to the previous screen with "Specific Location" on it. Hit next on the bottom left hand corner of this window to open up the next screen.

Step 6: On this screen you will be given the option of what you would like to Restore. Be sure that only the "Restore cast and crew databases (including photos)" is checked. Go to the "Existing Photes:" and use the pull down to select "Let me compare". For your first download this may not be important as every photo downloaded will be new, but for subsequent photos selecting this would be important. This allows you to compare what is already in your database to what you are restoring.

Step 7: Hit "Ok" at the bottom of the window and you will then be able to compare all the photos that you have "Restored" vs. what you already have in your database.

Step 8: Once you have finished go back to Step 3 and do the same process for each file you downloaded. This works for any of the files that people have provided in the thread Antares pointed out. So the more you "Restore" the more headshots your database will contain. I only linked you to a small chunk of what the community has provided.

BTW, thank you to everyone who have provided said headshots, you all have done an awesome job of improving an already awesome program.

If anyone is getting stuck on doing this process feel free to PM me, and I might be able to help out. 

Believe me it sounds a lot more complicated then it really is. Once you do it once you'll feel quite comfortable downloading any update and getting all these great headshots.

On my computer, it is located in the 'My User Name -> Documents -> DVD Profiler -> CreditPhotos' folder.  I didn't create that folder, so I assume it is a standard one.

At least that's where all of mine are (8,989 images).

I do not have a 'Headshots A-Z' folder in my 'Images' folder.  I have a 'Thumbnails' folder, but not one for headshots.  My headshots are all in the folder I mentioned above.  As long as I name them properly, see my first post, the program automatically links them with the cast/crew member.
