So I want to do a name clean up.  Basically I'm looking at starting with Cedric the Entertainer who, in accordance with the rules should be entirely in the first name.  Others I see are:
Cedric / the / Entertainer
Cedric // the Entertainer
Cedric (the Entertainer)
Cedric 'the Entertainer'
Cedric "the entertainer"

What is the best way to go about this?
Obviously it should be Cedric the Entertainer//

Sam:

There is NO cleanup. Don't forhget that we go with what the credits say , Cedric / the / Entertainer and
Cedric // the Entertainer are not per the Rule, but the others are folowing the Rules and there is NO cleanup,. The first tw yes, but not the others unless you discover that Cedric (the Entertainer) in Movie X is really credited as Cedric 'the Entertainer'. You want to clean up your localdatabase per whatever standards you might wish to apply that is up to you. But everything in Profuiler is based not on the users, but on the ACTUAL film credits.I hope that's not to confusing.

We have a tool called the CLT (Credit Lookup Tool) which aids in determining what the most commonly credited name is,however that is to be sued as a Common Name and not to change the appearance of the On Screen data. If you have notice when you in Cast/Crew edit mode and you are assigning the Role, the Actor name is referred to by Credited As, that means precisely what it says. If the Most Common name is Cedric the Entertainer, fine but if the Credit says Cedric "The Entertainer" then the Credited As field better say Cedric"The Entertainer".

Yes, sorry, this is what I mean.  Obviously I don't want to change the actual credit but to include the common name.
