| | Posted: | | | | This is my first post. I'm receiving the following message (Application Error) when attempting to access the program, "Exception EAccessViolation in module dvdpro.exe at 0062B0A6. Access violation at address 00A2B0A6 in mosule`dvdpro.exe`. Read od address 000001D5." I have been addressing this with the support...they have given me various reasons for this arranging from a firewall issue to an upgrade to my operating system...nothing for sure. Any advice would be greatly appreacited. |

wish I had better news for you, but without further information this errormessage could have resulted from practically anything.
So some questions in advance:
What did you try to do?
How did you do it?
Which OS are you using?
Which security software?
Did you change anything to your soft- and or hardware-setup lately (registry cleanup?)? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| | Posted: | | | | Try to run DVDProfiler as administrator (rightclick on the icon -> "Run as administrator" (or equivalent)).
Does the error still occur?
If "Yes":
Check the logfiles of Norton for software blocks, look for dvdpro.exe and/or svchost.exe.
If this fails too, try a databaserepair via "Start -> All Programs -> DVD Profiler (folder) -> Database Repair Utility" perform the complete repair (default) | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| | Posted: | | | | Sounds like it could also be a bad download and now it is sticking no matter how you try and fix it.
use a registry cleaner and totally remove all of Profiler .., Clean out all your old temp files and even try a a quick disc check for crossed files. .
Then do a quick check on line for any (microsoft /java/ flash ) updates you may need ., reboot then reinstall Profiler ..
