Hello!  I made a couple mistakes when I was inputting the "personalize" data for a couple DVDs.  I think I somehow used my barcode scanner when I was over the "Price Paid" field and I had two DVDs with LARGE numbers and it made my collection indicate that it cost me like $44,000,0000,000.00 or so. LOL!  I found the couple movies I messed up and fixed the prices but the charts/graphs still don't work???

The custom report that I created so I could easily find which ones I screwed up show the updated/fixed prices but the canned chart/graph is still showing $44bil for the cost of my collection.  I've tried adding an additional DVD and even closing the app and then re-opening DVD Profiler but I still can't get it to update the canned Price Paid - Total and Average charts.  Any suggestions?  I tried a search but got way too many pages and couldn't find a related problem.

I'd eventually like to make a text report have totals but haven't figured out how to do that yet so only have the canned charts that come with the program.

I do plan to check out some of the plug-ins for sure. The charting feature evidently doesn't "look" at all your DVDs each time and must store the data for some reason... I just need this stored data (a file I can maybe delete???) to either go away or update itself

I thought about trying that, Astrakan, but I only remember one of the two I screwed up. ARGH! LOL! 

Evidently this is not something people use too often.  Would have thought this little bug would have been noticed a while ago.  Oh well, if I figure out how to "fix" it I'll post back here.   Thanks!

Could also try backing up the database (probably not a bad idea before you mess around with any attempted fixes anyway) and then restore it to a new database and see what numbers that shows.

The one report I created showed it pretty clear these HUGE numbers and there aren't anymore of them

I have already backed up my database... spent about 10 hours putting in 1900+ DVDs and didn't want to lose that work. LOL

Just an update that I got it figured out.  I modified one of the reports that comes with DVD Profiler and that report DID show a DVD with a huge price.  I'm still figuring this out and didn't even know there was an option here but for the report I created, it did NOT expand boxed sets.  The report I modified did and the bad price was in one of the boxed sets.  I don't (knowingly!) stick a "price paid" in an expanded boxed set because I put the price paid in the "first" listing of the boxed set and then $0.00 for the individual disks. 

Anyway, I didn't examine the report close enough to even realize it wasn't expanding boxed sets so didn't even notice this until I modified an existing report and then that $44bil number stuck out like a sore thumb!
