I'm totally new to DVDProfiler, but as a hole, i think the application is sooo easy and user friendly.
BUT, when this is said, there are (atm) one thing i can't figure out how to do.

As described in the subject: how do one add a new movie, if it doesn't show when EAN is entered, when entered with letters or if the movie is inserted into the CD/DVD drive?

First of all: welcome to the Asylum!

The important thing when a DVD is not in the database is to untick the "Download profile from Invelos" checkbox in the "Add DVD" screen. Then you can do whatever you want.

If you plan to contribute the new profile to the central database, please make sure you follow the Contribution Rules. When you contribute, a webpage will open asking you to write contribution notes. In these notes, please specify where you got your data from (please note that cast and crew credits can only come from the movie credits themselves).

Happy profiling, and hopefully contributing!

DJ

The third icon on the top left is a DVD covered by a plus sign.  Click it and a window will open.  Enter the UPC from the DVD case.  Is normally on the back top right corner of the case.  If the movie is not in the database you will receive a message.  Click add DVD and you need to enter the title.  The is a check box which says edit now.  Click it and enter all of the information you have available about the DVD per the rules set by Invelos.  Hope this helps.

Thx both for the quick assistance and welcoming

Both suggestions works like a charm.

Some of my DVD's are documentaries, recorded television programs. So these are naturally not in any UDP or EAN system and have to be added manually.
