There are a lot in the Thumbnails folder too.
It looks daft if I put the computer on Slideshow!

DB repair - in the options menu or the start menu
Rebuild thumbnails - in the collection list view changer menu
'Refresh all images' in the online menu |

| | Posted: | | | | Ah I just re-read you post. Are the images fine in profiler? If so then ignore my above post (although it wouldn't hurt to do those things) and goto Tools- Options- Utilities- 'Clean image directory'. |

| | Posted: | | | | Huh, that should've done the trick. Did you try the things in my first post too? Might be a good idea seeing as though the regular fix aint working. If you still get no joy you could try sorting the folder by file size then manually deleting the blank images, they should all be clumped together (make sure you backup your db first though). btw If your using your images folder to display the covers in a screensaver you may want to check out DJ Doena's screensaver app. You can specify various filters so only unwatched movies are displayed, for example. Be sure to download the latest version from the end of the thread. | | | | Last edited: by MarEll |

What's causing this? This usually happens if you're using the preview of the "Add DVD ..." function. It only becomes annoying if you don't accept the previewed, but another profile. I usually remove them directly from the folder, because the removal tools don't seem to grab them. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

We'll see how that goes.
There are 3,700 images in total remaining! |

Skip He's stated earlier in the thread that the amount of 'blank' images in the folder isn't proportionate to the amount in Profiler. Nosferatu-How many profiles do you have in DVDP in total? Looking at your online collection I can't see why you have 3700 images remaining. I've had another idea. Make a FULL backup. Create a new database. Restore that backup into the new db. You can then compare the file sizes of each db but I bet the new one is smaller. If the new db seems ok you can go ahead and delete the old one. Be sure to check out that screensaver! It's awesome!  Edit: Forget all that (except the screensaver bit), I was forgetting that profiles have 2 images!  | | | | Last edited: by MarEll |
