Hi.

I contributed some changes to the region 2 release of Cosmos earlier today, and now I just scanned the cover, so I contributed this too. Now, only the latest appears in "My contributions". Does that mean that my new contribution effectively replaced the previous?

Should I just recontribute the profile, this time with cover scans and all the other changes?

Yies, only your latest contribution will be added, unless it has already been accepted.

You need to check all the fields again for the changes to show up, including your cover scans.

You should also read the Rules FIRST and be sure that you are contributing within them, and not removing data which is legitimate. This happens w2ith new users all too often.

What do you mean "removing legitimate data"?

The only data I "removed" in my contribution was the region, which was falsely listed as region 2. The discs are all region 0. I added a rating, I added the SRP, I added slip cover to the case type, I added the subtitle and audio languages, I added an overview, I added disc infos and I added cover images. All of these fieldes were empty originally.

The only "removal" that happened was when I uploaded the cover images, thinking this would be a separate contribution. Rookie mistake, I know, but seeing how I only "removed" my own updates, which hadn't found its way into the database yet, I don't see how this is a big deal.

What skip is trying to say, is there are a lot of new users that inadvertently remove data.

Nothing directed at you specifically, but I have seen entire cast lists accidentally removed

Don't let Skip scare you.

Although he's right, f you haven't already, you should look at the rules to make sure you are gathering info from the proper sources (99% fronm the disc and movie credits, covers lie so don't trust them).

Welcome to asylum as they say around here.
