I recently submitted a scan for "Watchmen" and was informed by others in the review that it wasn't the slip cover image.  (When I submitted my image the case type was still as keep case only which is why I submitted what I did.  I guess the slip cover voting had gone to released status before I submitted mine else I wouldn't have submitted what I did.  I am familiar with the rules for those that left the comment.)

The copy of the DVD I purchased didn't come with the litho slip cover.  Is there any place I can order the slip cover or any way to get it?

Thanks.

Highly unlikely. Usually the original release comes with a slip cover and when that's sold out, they're re-releasing it without the slip cover.

i have noticed alot of disney movies in stores that dont have slip covers. they will have one copy that does and another that doesn't! Dont know where you could get slip covers, but i would check ebay. i'm always amazed at what stuff they sell on there.

Sometimes it's just luck. I recall when the Grindhouse Planet Terror disc came out, Best Buy and Target all had slipcovers, but Wal-Mart and Circiut City didn't. Usually almost everywhere will have the slipcovers on release day, when that first batch is sold out, the next waves will come without the slips. Not sure if Blockbuster or Hollywood still get the slips, I kinda feel like they don't since they always have slightly different UPC's. Back in the day they would get the exact same dvds the stores would, then throw out all the slipcovers and inserts after putting the discs in their crappy rental cases. This was great when BB would leave the inserts inside once in a while, saved me from cutting up some of my own for special offers.
