On some of the blu-rays that I have in my collection, the blu-ray strip across the top is there and on others they are not.  They appear to be there in the preview, but when you look at the cover scans, it looks like some of them have been cropped.  I prefer to have the blu-ray strip across the top to identify easily which movies are blu-ray.  Is this normal to have them mixed and is anyone else experience this.

Example.  Casino Royal doesn't have strip, but The Dark Knight does.  They are many like this.

Thanks
Mark

If the stripe is part of the cover art, it's supposed to be there. If it's part of the case, it isn't.

Welcome new guy.

Some Blu-ray (and HD-DVDs) have Slip Covers.  If they do (and the Slip Cover box is checked for that profile) then you don't get a banner because the slip cover covers the space the banner would have been.

If there is No slip cover then the banner is automagically added.  If you want the banner on all Blu-rays you need to (for now) uncheck the Slip Cover box for the profiles where it is checked.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!
