Ok, UPC 786936208412 US Locality

The profile shows this as anamorphic widescreen but Deep Discount lists it as Full Frame. Which is right? I don't know what's listed on the back cover. Is there a full frame release of this under the same UPC? I'm thinking on getting this movie during Deep Discount's 25% off sale but if it's Full Frame as listed on their site I will pass. So looking for some verification as to th aspect ratio of this dvd

Well, I thin you need to ask DDDVD.

It is not at all uncommon for titles to be stripped down a bit when they are moved to the bargain bin. Wal-Mart started this, when they moved to their bargain bin they would sell of whatever remaining stock they might have but replacements asre usualluy stripped down, see for example Lats Action Hero, which was originally released as a FF/WS DS Disc, but once the old stock was sold off, all new stock was strictly FF, the WS side was removed. Very common.

Some quick googling of the title brings up various sites ,

all reporting 1:85 ., including its own web site .

The title was originally released in 2004 with only a single format .1.85 Anamorphic. I can find no announcement of a re-release (means nothing on its own). In checking the top sites, most are indicating that their inventory is 1.85 or no indication at all, ONLY DVDPlanet indicates the same video data as DDDVD. My suspicion is that there has been a "quiet" re-release in FF to get to the bargain basement. I would suggest asking DDDVD about more specific info to verify that they have FF, otherwise I would order from someone else. If my suspicion is correct, inventories are being cleared out anf future orders will be filled with FF version.
