Hi,

I just got "The Spirit - Limited Steelbook - Amazon exklusiv".
It's a HD Keep Case (containing the blu-ray disc) glued to an empty blu-ray steelbook... which case type would be used in the profile? HD Keep Case, Steelbook or even Custom?

Hmm,

are you supposed to put the Blu-ray into the Steelbook ?
Then I would add it as a Steelbook.

Does the Keep case also have a cover or is it a blank one ?
If its a blank one, I would also put the Blu-ray into the Steelbook and enter it as Steelbook.

If the Keep case also has a cover, then it is very difficult I guess.

cheers
Donnie

does the steelbook have a separate upc/ean? or one at all?

if it does than it should probably be entered under that upc using the steelbook's upc/ean and using that as the case and then entered as an HD keep case using the other UPC/ean as this probably corresponds to the non-amazon exclusive release

Steelbook and HD Keep Case have the same EAN. The HD Keep Case has a cover (even a "Wendecover") itself. It's easy to seperate the cases as the glue is no real problem and damages neither case, so I guess the customer is supposed to put the discs and booklet (folded sheet) into the steelbook.

As both have the same EAN then the Online should have the non-exclusive entry, in this case it would be HD Keep.

I agree with Forget, the exclusive release should be a locally held profile. Unless Ken were to wish to override and iclude two separate entries, as he did for T2: UE, but I don't think this fits in that category.

Thanks for the input guys

Just made my contribution... I left it as Steelbook and put the "HD Keep Case mit Wendecover" into the Other Features field as I don't know if this keep case will ever be sold alone... I checked amazon, dvd-palace and ean-search with the ean in question (4030521717916) and all delivered amazon exclusive steelbook edition. If there's really a non-exclusive release with this ean today or earlier this could be changed by another contribution I think.
