Hello,

I'm about to add some pictures for cast and crew members. When I contribute them, I am not able to write some contribution notes. On the page of pending contributions is the warning: "Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.", but in the forum shows "This forum is view-only; new notes are posted as contributions are received."

Where can I write down what I've done?

The cast & crew is very uncomplete and unattended, so I want to do my part to complete it.

Greetings,
Gizmo

There's a box on the submission page.

First: You can not contribute cast and crew pictures. They are local only.

You make a contribution through the DVD Profiler menu option Online - Contribute DVD Profile. After you have selected that option you get the web page where you write the contribution notes.

Oh, ok, then I make this changes for my own collection. It's a pity, because this is a lot of work...

Thank you for your answers!

You also can take part in improving the Headshot Master Database:

Gizmo;

Photos of celebrities are coyrighted by somebody usually the photographer and they are entitled to compensation for the use of their images that is why they are not Contributable. As for the headshot database, be advised that the pictures are STILL copyrighted, you are, under US law, entitled to copy an image for your own use, but once you move into file sharing such as the Headshot database that becomes a violation of copyright law and is potentially punishable as such. A woman in Minnesota just last week was held liable by the courts for a $2M fine for her violation of copyright law, so it does happen and the penalties are severe. I build my own headshots and share them with no one for that reason, it's not worth the risk to me.

Ok, I understand. It's not my purpose to harm any copyrights.

Dumb question: aren't the DVD-Covers under copyright too?

That's the reason that DVD Profiler cover scans do not include scans of the spine.
