I'm auditing a movie and am wondering if these would count for new crew roles:

key make-up stylists
make-up effects supervisor
make-up effects crew

The rules show: Key Make-Up, and Key Make-Up Artist, but not stylists, so is that the same thing?

And also: Make-up Effects and Special Make-up Effects [by], but not supervisor/crew...

Thanks!
Lori

I'll start off by saying that the "make-up effects supervisor" certainly deserves to be entered. I'd prefer to leave the subsequent batch of "crew" out.

As for the "key make-up stylists", well... are these the only makeup-related credits (makeup effects excluded, that is)? If so, I think I'd enter them.

Well, I think there was 1 or 2 others: one being a company, which does not go in, I know, but the other was an assistant which doesn't go in either.

Thought I'd post here rather than start another thread, hope you don't mind

Would "Special Weapons Effects" get a credit or local only?

Personally, I wouldn't contribute that.

Once again, T!M says exactly everything I was going to. I have been entering make-up designers, but not sure if that's the same as "stylist". If it didn't have "key" in it, there would be no question to leave it off. Leave it off unless it's the only make-up credit.

Weapons Effects are out also. That could be as little as punching holes in the film for muzzle bursts, but it more likely blanks and sqibs.
