Apologies in advance if this has been posted previously...

PC Crashed, I was able to salvage some files from hard drive including a backup of my database.  I temporarily loaded DVDP on my laptop and restored the backup database.  Everything looked great, but when I went to update a "Watched" listing, I realized that my history is gone.  What files do I need to grab from my dying hard drive to restore my viewing history?

I have over 500 movies, I don't want to do this manually!!

Any help would be appreciated

Maybe you made a backup without the user database (and thus excluding watched events?).

Try to salvage the directory <my documents>\DVD Profiler\Databases\Default.

If you have that, copy it onto your Laptop in the same directory and see if it works.

Well, a full BackUp should include all data.
Have a look at Data Recovery an try "Restore from Online-List" if your Online-List is recent and/or "Restore from old HDD" if the whole old directory is still available.

Thanks DJ and Mithi.

The rumors of my viewing history were greatly exaggerated (by me).  I overreacted, looks like my viewing history is safe, what freaked me out was that in the "DVD Watched" window, it didn't show the list of users, like it normally did.  But the good news is my viewing history is safe, and I did use the backup functionality to do it.

Thanks again.
