Should the parent profile for Box Sets have Genres or should it be left blank?
There are sets that are Actor/Director specific so all the films may be different so it is hard to choose what to use for the genres other sets are film series so is slightly easier to choose.

If they're the same type of movie/genre, sure - but if not, leave blank.

I agree, this seems to be the most logic way.

I agree with Dr. Killpatient. If by some strange circumstance they boxed Aliens & Love Actually together, I don't think putting Romance / Comedy / Horror would be appropriate.

I would leave them blank for that one. A bit too much difference between them IMHO.

I agree, that's what I also do. If it's a box set with a TV series or a series of movies, I put the genre also in the box set. If it's a gathering of various movies, then I leave it blank and only put the genre in each individual movie's profile.

Agreed.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
