Quite easy:
Go to DVD Profiler menu "DVD -> Zur Sammlung hinzufügen". Pick the option "Nach EAN hinzufügen", enter the EAN, if it's not present in the database you'd be asked to enter this profile manually; confirm this. When done you'll find a new (almost) empty profile in your database which can be edited to match the DVD.
If you want to contribute this profile to the maindatabase make sure to read the rules first.

(If the DVD in question is "Orange County" wait until tomorrow, the profile is on it's way)
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

If the movie is already in the database under a different EAN, you can base your new profile off the existing one. This is sometimes referred to as cloning. Check the link in my signature for information on how to do that and what to keep in mind when doing it.

Dolly's not alone. You can also clone profiles.

Stupid question perhaps, but suppose one doesn't have the UPC (EAN) of a release (yet). Is it then still possible to manually add a new profile?

I'm confronted to this problem for the first time now. I want to add a profile (locally only, I don't inted to upload to the database) of a disc that is yet to be released. I already have quite a bit of info, except the UPC. I searched high and low and can't find it anywhere, but I'd still like to start entering the data I already have and add the UPC lateron, after I bought the disc. Is that possible? I'd like to add the profile in my wish list until I can purchase the disc.

If it helps, the disc I want to add is the following:
Saint Seiya the Lost Canvas vol 1 Blu-ray
Amazon link
Official studio site

none of the usual website I check has the UPC noted, so I'm a bit stuck here.
Blu-ray collection
DVD collection
My Games
My Trophies

Just do DVD>Add to Collection and click on the 'Add by Title' tab.  Then uncheck the box in the lower left corner that says "Download profile from Invelos".  Enter the Title and click on "Add".  The program will open the "Edit Profile" window and you can enter whatever data you want.  Once you save it, a Manual ID will be assigned in place of the UPC.  Later when the disc is in your hands, you can change to the UPC or Disc ID as approprate.'
