I recently found the "Copy/Paste" functionality in DVD Profiler *blushingabitacctually*, anyway, I found it extremly helpful. Flaging a couple of profiles and issue a paste command is wicked cool.

I was wondering if there is a similar functionality to copy/paste the Watched list from one profile to another?

What is the fastest and simple way to do this?

Thanks!

Depends. Is the new profile already there and does it carry any conservation-worthy data?

If no, I would simply change the UPC of the profile and update the it to get all public data from the MasterDB. That would keep all the personal data. To restore the original profile with the original UPC simply make a database beforehand and a "Restore Specific Profiles" afterwards.

Thanks Mithi,

I found another way.
Flag the EAN profile, then do Collection -> Flagged -> Clone to DiscID.
Woala! A squiky clean new copy of the EAN profile but with disc id in the UPC field (incl. my watched list, which I consider to be conservation-worthy data).

Hi xyrano
I am using the current version of DVDProfiler and attempted and could not find the final step you describe in my drop-down menus viz.
"Flag the EAN profile, then do Collection -> Flagged -> Clone to DiscID"
"Clone to ID" is not listed in my menu. Could it be that you have a plug-in installed that allows this option"?

Interesting...
Well, I have no idea where it came from but I've got the following Plugins. You could compare it with your list of plugins. Doing: Tools -> View Plugins:
- BulkEdit
- Collection Gallery (comes with DVDP)
- Database Query
- View Flagged DVDs (comes with DVDP)
Some are downloadable from the download plugin section. Curiously, I could not find Collection Gallery or View Flagged DVDs on the download section. Oh well...

That is an option added by the BulkEdit plugin. Sorry, I guess the menu item should identify where it came from. I'll make that change someday. I was going to mention this option, but I thought Mithi's idea was about as easy, and doesn't require a plugin. Anyway, so now you got two ways. It's all good, as they say ...

By the way Collection Gallery and View Flagged are official Invelos plugins that install automatically with the product, so there is no need to download them.
