| | Posted: | | | | so i decided to kick off my "pet" project and sort out the uk boxset. so before i start the whole data gathering and contributing process, i'm trying to get some things clear studios, i know that 20th century fox home entertainment = twentieth century fox home entertainment for contributions, but does this apply to other credits of 20th century fox = twentieth century fox at the end of the credits (as far as season 1 disc 1 thus far), the logo appears as below at the end of the credits,  so would this receive 20th century fox television twentieth century fox television 20th television (as this is what actually appears) or nothing as it appears only as a logo and not an actual screen credit (copyright notice says twentieth century fox film corporation) credits, in the Pilot, there are crew credits for costume designer (LA) and costume designer (VAN), should they be included. i haven't included these as yet as i'm considering these along the lines of unit crew. supervising producer - i haven't included these no doubt i shall re-visit this topic as i come across other questions i have when i continue through the set. thanks |

I was recently profiling Roxanne and it had two Costume Designers listed back-to-back (equal billing) in the main credits as: U.S. Costumer Designer Canadian Costume Designer I had no problem crediting them both. If the X-Files has the normal, separate Unit crews then the normal issues would apply. | | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

nothing as it appears only as a logo and not an actual screen credit (copyright notice says twentieth century fox film corporation) According to the News Corp website, the company that owns all things '20th', the proper name is 'Twentieth Television'. As for it being a logo, the rules do not say it has to be a written credit. We just prefer the written credit, as it usually lists the correct name, while the logo is often abbreviated. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.

If you look at this wikipedia article, you will see that it says, "20th Television also produces their own programs and distributes them across the nation (though as a rule, all copyright notices of programming produced by a Fox-related company and distributed by 20th Television reads © (respective year) Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation)." The other article notwithstanding, this seems to confirm the News Corp statement. Even if it was just distribution, they would serve the same function as the theatrical release company and get listed first.
