Ok. So I don't contribute TV series much. I'm not familiar with ratings for TV.

Earlier I contributed Prison Break: Season One Blu-ray and changed the type from film to television and changed the rating from PG-13 to TV-14, and I included a ratings detail of "Violence".

But I'm not so sure that's correct because I don't understand the ratings logo:



It's not really any bigger or more legible if you look at it on the cover directly. Is the rating on the left for the US rating? I'm assuming the rating on the right (with the word "ans" = "years" in French) is Canadian. But what about the one on the left?

Since I changed it from film to television, it knocked out the "PG-13" that was there previously. I selected "TV-14" because of the 14 on the left. But it doesn't say "TV-14". 

For the details, I used "Violence", even though it says "Violence. Not recommended for kids."

So what should it be?

That is what I would do as well, but with no rating detail as the rating detail on the cover is not for the US release.

My cover matches the current cover for the Region A US-locality profile. It also matches the back cover shown at DVD Empire. So I think I have the proper cover. 

So if those ratings are Canadian, I can't use them. What about the ratings details? Can I use ratings details from a Canadian rating when there's no US rating present?

I have to say my first instinct is to say no... the Canadian rating details should be left for the Canadian locality profiles.
