I'm just working on Stealth, and two cast members are credited with a military title before their names; do we include them, or use only the name, and add a credited as with titles.

I know this has probably been asked before, but I searched and the search timed out every time.

I would include the full as-credited name unless you can show CLT results to show that the name without the title is the most credited name. Then you could use Credited As. But I'm assuming these are actors with few, if any, other credits?

Post by Gerri

So not only rank... but even if the name is followed by what branch of military they are in it is included... so even something like...

Gy. Sgt. Brian Hicks USMC

it would all go into the profile whether common name or as credited field per most commonly credited form.

Tip: use Google instead! use site:invelos.com inside the search
( eg. http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ainvelos.com+military+title )

The time out was driving me crazy

Another tip that I use a lot (and how I found that link to Gerri's post so fast)...

If it is a thread you know you participated in... I go to...

My Profile -->Subscriptions

and then use the search built into my browser (I use firefox... but most all browsers I tried has one) for the post I am looking for.
