I don't quite understand what you are driving at.
The displayed award is derived from the (original) title and the production year entered in the profile. It doesn't depend on UPCs or disc IDs or if it is a manual profile.

I created a child profile for the 1951 feature based on the previous blu-ray release for the Canada locality. I updated everything to match the new disc including discID. It should be identical to the US one, so clone away. I know not what the award data is, the previous version made no mention in the overview. I am pretty sure the 2008 version was not up for any awards though.   

I've submitted a Child Profile for the 1951 release for the US locality (Disc ID 593794601E3F7FE0). Should probably be approved tomorrow, and you can add it to your collection.

There should be no reason for a child profile for the 2008 release.  This release doesn't follow box set rules but, instead follows Bonus Feature Films rules.

But can't you use the main profile for the 2008 watched stats and the child profiles for the 1951 watched stats?

Just convert the existing 2008 profile to a Manual profile then redownload the version with UPC add both the 2008 and 1951 profiles to the 2008 UPC profile.  Remove the data from the parent profile you don't want and you will have a box set type profile.

Ok I figured out how to make a manual profile and all that but it still doesnt help me to have the proper UPC for the parent and each child the disc id's becouse again I dont have a blu ray dvd rom, you cant copy the disc id

If you are wanting disc ID versions for both movies so you can contribute the existing Profile as a box set, you can not as this particular release does not fit the box set rules. As Invelos defines what is allowed to be contributed as a box set and what is considered to be a bonus feature film.

Thanks but this still isnt helping me, If I Download the current "Day the Earth Stood Still (2008)" profile UPC to be used as your parent.  Then add the manual profile you created for the 2008 version and the disc ID profile for the 1951 edition to the existing Day the Earth Stood Still that already has the UPC assigned to it. Then in the future the child profile of the 2008 movie will not be updated properly becouse Invelos will not recognize the manual id, I think the rule is flaud in this way, when you have two seperate movies like this and one day I watch the 1951 release and the next the 2008 release that is TWO differant movies and therefore should show two movies in my watched statistics the way it is set up now that cannot be done properly.

This title and I beleive some of the combo titles like Bolt need seperate id's and upc for this reason. If I watch the blu ray of Bolt one day and my daughter watches the dvd the next day thats is two differant releases and two differant watched stats of the same movie.
