You can edit Ordered, using a translation file. Those are normally used to translate dvdprofiler in different languages. But you can use it to change some words in menus or program.

Menu Tools>Options>System >Language>Edit

then "translate" Ordered by Steelbooks.

OK, figured it out. I had to change the Translation in multiple Rows. Worked great now.

You can't "sort" on them, but you can "filter" on them.

That's correct.  There should be a program tab where you could check which tagged items to display.

There are actually many ways to accomplish this.

You already know about using a different tab and creating a translation to rename it.

You could create an entirely separate database (seems like overkill).

There are tags.

You could give them special collection numbers and so they'll stand apart if you sort by collection number.

There's a plug-in called MyTabs or something that let you create custom tabs.

Finally there's my favorite solution.  Create a manual profile called Steelbooks (or whatever).  Then assign all your steelbooks as child profiles to that manual profile.  Like a fake boxset.  So my signature to see what that would look like.  I have an HD profile with HD DVD and Blu-ray profiles under that.  I've also done the same thing with my TV stuff.  I have a TV profile, with more fake profiles under than to sort out my TV shows.

That's very clever.  Can you have boxset within a boxset with this method?

Sure.  Click the link in my signature and you'll see an HD "boxset" containing child profiles for HD DVD and Blu-ray, which in turn contain actual HD DVD and Blu-ray profiles.  In fact, you'd find Goldfinger for example in HD -> Blu-ray -> James Bond -> Goldfinger.  I also have things like TV -> Babylon 5 Universe -> Babylon 5 -> Babylon 5: The Movie Collection -> Babylon 5: A Call to Arms.  So that profile is actually 5 levels deep!

In addition to grouping things very nicely, it also helps browsing through the 1200+ profiles in my collection.  My list would be much larger if I didn't sort things this way.  I also have a profile called Documentary / Music / Special Interest to group all my non-movie stuff into one place.  I also have one for Alfred Hitchcock (60+ profiles all neatly tucked into one "boxset"), my Walt Disney Treasures and others.

It doesn't take long too create a manual profile.  There's a title and optionally cover art if I can find something appropriate.  Add whatever profiles belong there, then I mark it as watched as soon as I create it so it doesn't show up when I look for unwatched stuff.
