Is it always a new paragraph if the preceeding line is not used until the end? Has there necessarily to be a gap wider than the normal line spacing? Do paragraphs have to begin with a capital letter?

If it was started with a capital letter I might agree but as it's lower case, it's just a continuation from "and become true heroes..." so should not be separated. |

In German for example, you have a new paragraph, if there is an empty line in-between. Other than in English, where a paragraph begins with a new line and the first word indented.
So I would prefer, if only example 1,2,6 and 7 would mean two paragraphs. I totally agree, dear Sir.
