I was going to get Game Collector to track my games and was hoping that the scanners they sell work with DVD Profiler?

I don't know what they sell, but chances are it will.

Most scanners either send the data just as keyboard input or have a software that needs to run while using it which emulates keyboard input. If you post info on the scanner, or a link to info on it someone can probably give you an more precise answer

The barcode scanners will work fine. For the Flic scanner you'll need the Scanner Wedge software to interface with DVD Profiler. This is what I do and it works great.
