Hello,

I haven't used DVDProfiler in a few years but decided to give it a try again.  When I went to the site I realized that the company changed names/ownership; use to be InterVocative Software, but now it's Invelos Software. Anyway, I tried to sign in but I appear to have forgotten my password.  I know there is a "forgot password" link, but the problem is that it has been a few years since using the product and I couldn't tell you which email address I used at the time of my original registration.  My guess is that the email address is one that I no longer have.  I remember the URL of my DVD collection, in fact I can still view it!

Is there anyway of getting my password reset?  I have a feeling I'm going to be out of luck, but figured I would ask.  Any information that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.  I had to create a new account just to post this topic.

Thanks in advance,

KKERN

I think most users who experienced this were advised to use the Contact Us at the bottom of this page and to supply as much info as they could - when they paid for the licence, which email they used to register, what was their username at Intervoactive etc. Basically as much info that you can gather together to help them track down your old account.

BTW, while the company name has changed, the force behind the app hasn't.  Intervocative was more of an Umbrella corporation but the other members were zombie leaches and Ken (creator of DVDP) wanted out.  Invelos is owned by Ken and all proceeds go to Ken.

KK;

You also don't mention whether you were a paid member at Intervocative. There have been changes in this regard, if you were a paid memmber then yes, you will need to get that old password, or seek help from Ken and gerri as a last resort. However, the password as it related to the "free"program has changed substantially and will basically not be very helpful to you. Under the old system, the free limitation was based on size of your upload file but your collection could be as big as you wanted  as long as upload was not an issue, NOW it is simply 50 movies and then you have to buy in. You can still have as large a local collection as you wish, but as you can see here, there is too much left on the table, if you don't buy the program.

Skip
ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!

Once you get beyond 50 DVDs, you don't have to buy the program. The program still functions although there are limitations.  You will not be able to upload your collection, which is where the password might come in, but wanted to make sure you understood you didn't have to buy it.
