Hello !

Im' trying to organize a little bit my collection.
I've got a problem. In France we have 2 boxsets with 4 John Carpenter's movies.
(Sorry for the links, it seems that the tags didn't close correctly, my syntax is correct as far as I see)

Boxset 1 with The fog and Prince of Darkness
Boxset 2 with Escape from New-York  and They live
How should I name the boxsets ?

Solution 1
The first movie is used so for boxset 1, it's F even if "Prince of darkness" is beginning with a P. Pretty hard to find it.

Solution 2
There's an image "Coffret Carpenter" on each boxset, so I put it on the beginning of the title as "Cofrret Carpenter : The fog / Prince of darkness"

Solution 3
Each separate DVD has a "Collection Carpenter" on it, so the boxset could be named "Collection Carpenter : The fog / Prince of darkness"

Solution 4
The boxset, even if it looks good, goes to trash and the DVD are in their alphabetical order...

Bonus question !
How do I find the parent boxset while searching in DVDProfiler ?
If I'm typing "Prince of darkness" it'll show me the child DVD but the parent boxset didn't appears...

Thanks !

I always choose that solution when each movie has its own packaging. I never saw the interest of parent and child profiles when it can be avoided (even my Star Wars boxset is somewhere in the attic...)

I tend to use solution 4, unless they are packaged in slimcases. In which case i sort them all  (locally) using the boxset name. I have for example a Humphrey Bogart box, so all movies are sorted under Humphrey Bogart. A Film Noir box sorts all movies under Film Noir etc.
