Hi,

I'm a relatively new user with profiler, so is there someone ho can explain me how to set up a filter of any kind, in specific a filter to search per actor?

You should have a Filters window in your layout that includes filters for Cast and Crew. If you can't see the Filters window, type Ctrl+F
