When I checked for child profiles for Simpsons Season 1 (024543009009), it found only 1 child profile, for disc one only. This child profile wasn't even in the right title format, as it was listed as "Simpsons, The: (etc.)". However, when I went and manually added the three child profiles in the database and went to contribute it, I instead saw in the contribution preview page that the existing profile online supposedly had 3 child profile disc IDs instead already attached to it, that did not match mine. The weird thing is, when I go to refresh the parent profile, it continues to give me only that one weird Disc One profile and will not give me the 3 child profiles that supposedly are attached to the parent in the preview. According to the contribution notes history, the last contribution update was Dec 7, 2008 so this cannot be a case of a pending released update that hasn't taken effect yet. I also noticed that despite making no change to the studios, the contribution preview shows that I supposedly changed 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment to Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, even though the actual profile in my local collection says "20th", so why is the program thinking I have changed it in my contribution? Any ideas on these two possible bugs? Can anyone replicate this? Try previewing Season One and it should show the 3 child profiles in the box set contents, but add it and it instead changes it to that weirdly formatted Disc One child profile only.

To check for Child Profiles in DVD Profiler go to Online > Refresh DVD from Invelos > Check for Child Profiles or you can just use Ctrl + F12. The weirdly foramtted one as you put it is probably the parent profile for the box sets. Box Set Parent Profiles do not contain credits etc. (See the contribution rules for boxsets here)

The update for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment to Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is being performed by an online filter implemented by Invelos. This is because the actual credit is Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment as opposed to the logo which says 20th.

Sorry but your response did not answer my main question and I am not sure you understood it. Can someone please add the Simpsons UPC in my first message and tell me if the child profiles download correctly or if they get that weird Disc One profile ONLY as the child profile instead of the 3 child profiles showing up in the preview window? I can't get my Simpsons S1 to download those child profiles and yes, I am extremely familiar with how to do so as I spent 4 hours last night updating over 200 titles that had child profiles and this was the one strange profile update.

I downloaded the UPC in question (US Locality). It offers to provide one child profile even though three are listed in the box set contents. Checking for child profiles does not offer to download anything further.

The "parent" profile has a weird display problem in the preview mode, it displays the crew in a weird way by episode but looks fine when I download it. It has cast and crew entries for all 13 episodes.

The child profile contains all 13 episodes, so I assume that there is no disc two and three.

Hope this helps.

I had the same problem when I did an automatic download of the child profiles a couple of weeks ago. Haven't had a chance to look into it yet but will try and see why it is doing so later tonight.

Telecine, there should be more than one disc, if there was just the one disc then there would be no need for child profiles for the title.

I undertand that but there is only one child profile containing all 13 episodes that should be spread over three discs. Someone has contributed it that way.
