This was already mentioned when the 3.5.1 version was still in its most recent Beta, but appears to still be a bug:

If you choose a custom Black background color in the Overview field, and then close/reload the program, the custom Overview text color will always default back to White, thus whatever custom text color you had previously chosen will not load.

This apparently does not occur if you have the custom background color set to something other than Black.
