I am having a problem with dvd profiler for the first time in 5 or 6 years. I got a new computer the other day and when I try to download my collection from my online list I get a message that reads---"access violation 00A37106 in module dvdproexe read of address 00000008". I also get a error message when I try to start the program that reads----"access violation at address 00A25973 in module dvdproexe write of address 0177BF30".
I have tried everything from turing off the firewall to rebooting in safe mode, the invelos support team has been great and unfortunatlly they are out of ideas, is there anyone out there that can help me with this problem.

If your new computer runs Vista make sure you install with Full Admin rights.

If you still have the old computer, try doing a backup to a memory stick and then restore it to the new computer. You can then upload a new online collection.

Did you install DVDProfiler with the same user account that you use for downloading your collection?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Could we get a bit more details about your setup?
CPU
RAM
Which XP build (SP ? / Professional or Home / 64 or 32 bit)
Does only DVDProfiler show this behaviour, or do other programs have issues too?

It would possibly be helpful to know what is already excluded as the cause of the issue (by Invelos support team).
Trying to close in:
-The violation adresses are random or always the same? Same question for the violation #.
- Which version of DVDProfiler were you using on your old computer, which one are you using now?
- Does the startup error message appear too when you start DVDProfiler with a pressed "CTRL"-key?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
