Audio does not stay in allocated slot

This bug popped-up at V3.0, then was fixed, then it came back (probably at the latest release, but I just noticed it).

I enter a specific audio in slot 8 (for report use). If the slot before that one are empty, it moves my entry to the first empty slot, and does not keep it in slot 8. That defeats the purpose of being able to do a comp on a specific slot in the reports.

My previous entries are still in slot 8, only new ones added now are being moved to the first empty slot.

Any ideas?

Yes, it seems it came back with 3.5.

I just noticed it, even though it has been happening for 1 month+.

I tried with 3.5.1, and it's still there.

I had hoped another fix on the Audio list would have fixed that one too, but no luck.
