Try to do a database repair.  Go to tools, options, utilities, repair profile database.  I'd backup first, just in case.  Then go in and see if you can add.

Another problem that happens, is that sometimes the profile is invisible.  There's a way of backing up flagged entries only...so go through, flag all the ones you CAN see.  Then reload the database and see if that causes the invisible one to be removed.

Hope this helps!

Check if you can filter the entry via UPC.
-In the collection list click on the tab "All" (this would include wishlist and ordered)
- recheck if there's a difference between "All DVDs" and "Filtered" (there should be none).
-Press the combination "Alt + F10", a new mini window should pop up where you can enter the UPC of the DVD in question.
- After entering the UPC there should be one entry left (which is possibly empty) delete this by right clicking on it and choose the option "remove from collection..."

If this didn't work please come up again.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Glad it sounds like you've got yourself sorted, but if I were you I'd edit your posts and remove your phone numbers - this is a public forum so anyone has access.
