my collection window is automatically sliding out of screen unless I keep clicking on it (since 3.5)
I'd like to lock it to have my collection permanently displayed
is it possible?

Not too sure at this time what the problem could be..
let's start with
1. What layout do you have?
2. screen resolution ?
3. there are push pins on the corners, is it up and down? or sideways?

Are you referring to the little icons in the upper right corner of the layout field (an uparrow, a pushpin, and an X)?  I have wondered what these icons do, and can't find out anywhere, and there's no help message to go with them like there is for the more major icons.  I'm afraid to click on them for fear it will clobber my layout and I won't know how to undo what I did.

widescreenforever:
1.It's the "Invelos Default" layout
2.screen resolution: 1920X1200 (24")
3.I must put the mouse (not click) on the  "collection" button (sideway) to view my collection list, but the list slide to the left (outscreen) as soon as I move the mouse anywhere else!
Any idea? (I use a 3.5 french version)

Sounds like your mouse may be having problems. It seems like it's left button is stuck in click & drag mode. Perhaps reinstalling your mouse drivers or, if you have a cordless mouse, check the batteries. Low battery levels can cause a cordless mouse to act erratically.

By the way, there is no French version of DVD Profiler. Everyone uses the same version of the program but international users load a translation file that translates menus, etc, into their native language .

It's always best to save and backup your layout.., that way if you are messing around with your layout and it gets botched up.. just go to 'view/load layout/ then select your layout in the left frame and it gets put back instantly ..

I agree, Giga.  I was involved in the previous topic but forgot what the thumbtack icon was for.
