Disc 3 TERMINATOR SCC S1 D3[5E823947F1750AF7] DL I assume you are talking USA release though? UK release is three discs in a single box, so just has the one EAN code (not a boxset). | | Posted: | | | | Just because it is a single box don't mean it isn't a boxset. See the rules for TV Series... Boxsets for TV Series has been allowed per rules in the database for a long time now. From TV Series Rules: Quote:
Disc Level Profiles:
Individual profiles for each disc may be submitted if desired, but this is not required. Add these profiles to the box set contents of the parent profile. Create each of these individual profiles in line with the standard Contribution Rules with one exception - Cover Images. If a disc, or set of discs, have their own case, use the cover images from that case. When submitting a change to an existing TV series profile that is currently a box set, do not remove the existing contents.
In either case, the cast and crew are to be entered into the parent profile using appropriate episode dividers. IF you never checked... the database is filled with boxset profiles for single box releases. | | | | Pete |

| | Posted: | | | | Yeah, I know they exist, I just personally don't use them The key thing is to allow people not to use them if they don't want to, hence leaving the parent profile alone and fully populated in the main database. Submissions that attempt to turn the parent profile in to a thread-bare "boxset" profile (and thus are breaking the TV Series rules) erk me  I have no problem voting "yes" to boxset contents additions for Disc Level Profiles, even though I don't use them, so that others can if they so desire Disc Level Profiles and Boxsets are really two different things, but they get shown as the same thing in the program. So the UK release is not a strict "boxset", so the "boxset" rules don't apply, as allowed by the final rule Quote:
Note: In rare cases where multiple Complete TV Series are packaged together, the Box-set rules can be applied, treating each series like a single film - applying the above rules for it’s individual profile. | | Posted: | | | | My use of the term "personal" was not to infer that it was "not permitted" to upload Disc Level Profiles to the central database (as that is clearly permitted), nor that they should be kept local only. My use of the term "personal" was to infer that it was a "personal" choice as to whether you used them or not, not a "requirement" of the rules. I "personally" don't use Disc Level Profiles, while I know a lot of people "personally" do.
