I've got the following error massage when opening the cast information by clicking on the cast information button.
DBISAM engine error  #11013 Acces denied to Table ‘C:\Users\name\AppData\Roaming\DVD Profiler\Temp\41721.DAT

When selecting an actor the error occurs. the nummer in the ?.DAT varies.

The error occurs not allways but most of the time.

I use a Notebook with Windows Vista Home Premium
2.0 Ghz dual core Intel processor, 2 GB Memory. With 3.1 this error did not occur at all.

Try a database repair via DVDProfiler menu "Tools -> Options -> utilities -> Database repair..." Choose the complete repair.

Please come up again and tell if it worked.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Some antimalware tools can cause this effect.

So please try to disable antivirus, antispyware and softwarefirewall. But go offline first.
If the error disappears switch them on again one by one and see which program caused this.
If the error didn't disappear come up again

Error stays even with the advised disable of sugested software tools.  Reinstalling 3.1 lets me work with DVD-P just fine without any error messages. With and without the suggested software tools disabled. After reinstalling 3.5 the error comes up again with or without the software tools.  And asI looked any further on this topic I see I'm not the only one as the topic from Gizmau tells me. And I tried to fix in the same way Gizmau did. Not working. I think this is a bug.

Think so too now.
Funnily it seems to depend on some special conditions. So possibly you could contact Gizmau and check what your setups have in common. This might be of assistance to Ken in locating the bug.
