When one downloads updates, one can preview the changes. In the default side-by-side comparison screen, I still see "distributor" (left and right). Worse: the left (new/changes) side does not display content.

So the old entry may be:
studio: Disney Pictures, Buena Vista Home Entertainment
distributor: emtpy

The new one is:
S: Disney Pictures
D: empty

Crossing my fingers and approving the change, after the download, I find the publisher field filled (in this case with the BVHE entry ... but it could have been something else.

Apart from the wrong, old label, I cannot preview the change there for correctness.

The label (and final content) is still a little in flux.

You are correct that the New field shows as empty (whether or not it is).
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

So, I would like to call this a serious bug.

Not that it corrupts the program execution, but is does seriously affect a much appreciated feature of the downloading updates process.

I have the same problem!

It is very thilling when you wait for the end of the download to check wether it displays correct or not!

The default preview skin does not show the new distributor because it still says:
<DP NAME="DISTRIBUTOR">

When changing it to
<DP NAME="MEDIA_PUBLISHER">
it works.
File can be found at <DVD Profiler Installation>\Media\DefaultPreview.html

Also, Profile Comparison Plus does not yet support 3.5.

Matthias,

Thanks. Worked as promised.

Still think, though, if and when Ken finds enough cause for a v 3.5.1., this should be repaired too. After all, not every user is computer savvy enough to feel safe changing an HTML source file in the program directory section of his/her PC.

Thanks for the fix. IMO Ken really should issue an update asap for the less tech savvy.
