Hi, i have the same problem. 1.) updated 3.0.3 -> 3.5 2.) "db-conversion" aborts with error-msg (I think, didn't noted that) "DBISAM Engine Error #11010 table U:\mobileDB\CREDITSASSIGN.DAT does not exist" (file really doesn't exist) 3.) DB-Repair-utility => same error (definitely and reproduce-able) 4.) uninstalling 3.5 and re-installiung 3.0.3 5.) => same error. SPECIAL: I located the database on my "nearly full" USB-stick. I assume an bug at some writing procedure, which doesn't handle "disc full" correctly ... unfortunately copying the db directory to hard disc (6 GB free space) doesn't change anything. My additional problem: Also the backups (made with "include profiles", "include cover scans" and "include unused tags" DISabled) seem to be corrupt. Restoring them doesn't affect the empty database... so i stand there with a) an unusable db directory on USB stick and hard disc and b) corrupt or extremely outdated (Aug. 2008) backups. Can anyone fix my CREDITSASSIGN.DAT (CreditsAssign.IBK and CreditsAssign.DBK are still there) ? Or can I recover my users, history, prices, ... and other "private information" of my 622 DVDs ? Bye, Simon2. EDIT1: Fixed the problem by myself by copying the "Creditsassign.*"-Files from a newly created empty database into the directory of the corrupted db ... and voilá: Everything works fine (under the OLD Profiler!!) ... now I'm going to try the update again (with better backups). |
