I found in the DB help the section about adding Tags :

"How do I use tags?
Tags can be used to categorize your collection in a variety of ways, such as custom genres."

That worked just fine, I can click on the Filters tab, turn on one of my custom filters, then click again on Collection.  I see only DVDs fitting the filter.  However, I was wondering if there was a way to edit my local list of Genres so that when I select a DVD and edit it, the 3 Genre categories actually contain my custom genre.

Thanks,
DD..

Version 3.5 has this ability. You can either download the Beta version now, or wait until it's officially released, which shouldn't be much longer.
