| | Posted: | | | | Can anyone tell me why when I attach one of my personal Cover Scans (higher than normal quality) to a movie in Profiler, the quality degrades? I am not sharing the scans, they are purely for my own database. The scans look great in the Edit Cover Scans window, then as soon as they are assigned, the quality noticeably degrades. Is there some reason for this? And can I stop it from happening?

Your compression settings are probably set too low in the program. Slide the quality setting to a higher level, 100 being the best. | | | | Corey |

Good evening, Sirs, does DVD Profiler simply copy the (jpg-)image then? Does it incresae the (jpg-)image size when setting the quality to 100? | | Posted: | | | | It resizes the image in memory and then saves it to disk and the compression ratio will affect the overall file size - the higher the number, the larger the file.
Once you make the change, right-click on a DVD cover thumbnail and select Rebuild Icons. (I think that's how it goes, I'm at work and can't validate) |
